The World of Design is pleased to offer this Antique Venetian pair painted terracotta blackamoor figural jardinieres, late 19th Century.
Each blackamoor with raised arms holding a wicker-form basket on top of head, blackamoor is well paint decorated in a white and parcel gilt tied tunic raised on green and white painted plinth, standing on similar painted parcel gilt pedestals of square form, linear square molding to each side on square base.
The pedestal measurements are height 19 inches x top width 14 inches x depth 14 inches. The bottom of the pedestal width 11.5 inches x depth 11.5 inches.
